Summary
Overall, it has been a year where the after-effects of two years of Covid have continued to be felt, particularly with regard to group bookings where there has been a caution about booking events in advance. On the whole, though, such bookings have continued to be steady, but the importance of donations is still a key element to the financial figures.
A mini-project to install some solar panels was achieved via gift donations. An immediate advantage is that they provide a certain backup for some areas of the premises, should there be a mains power cut. The financial advantages have not been immediately obvious, but the panels are considered to be a positive facility.
