Thank you for joining tonight's meeting & welcome to those that are new to the setting.
Just a reminder for those that don't know that all informotion addressed in the AGM is for
the previous year rumillg & not this new academic year.
Numbers have been good over the past year with a couple of Children with additional needs.
There's been alot more children usin9 30 hours childcare as well which makes a diff erence
to f undin9 as well. There s also been more paying parents over the last term.
It is our duty of care to address the needs of all children & a couple do have more of a one
to one support even though we don't 9et the extra funding. We are not a profit making
organisation a you have to remember there pw be a loss some years due to where children's
funding fall or the number of children with additional needs that we have.
All staff, apart f rom Helen Attle worked throu9h the Covid pondemic a adapted really well
to the changes. Staff also completed more onlin¢ trainiry to keep up to date with things &
whilst there were less chi Idren coming in.
We did really well keeping children a staff safe a well. I was the only member of staf f who
Suffered with the virus durin9 the f irst lockdown (October 2020) Lindsay tested positive
Ixfore the Summer.
Porents/Car¢rs still don't enter the buildin9 unless they need to speak to staff
conf identially. The chi Idren come in real￿ well leaving Parents/Carers at the door & we've
noticed there, s less anxiety. We will be keepin9 this process in place f rom now on.
Staff wa9es have been reviewed & pay rises put in place.
No fundraisers inside for the past 18 months but we still did raff les at Easter, Summer &
Christmas. We also did a sponsored danceothon.
Helen Attle f inished her port-time position with us to work on the form l)ut she still comes in
if we need her for relief.
Tiegon Garf ield came in at the end of last term to decide if she wonted to do her level 3
apprenticeship. She decided to make the jump & has now started her trainin9 Wlth us.
New staff member Heather Dawson joined us in September & is level 3 qualif led.
Forest schools is still 90ing really well a we hove applied for the forest school accreditotion
now that Sally has bjilt a portfolio up a got the evidence needed. In order for it to be

completed Georgia has undertaken the out door first aid troining & has also booked on to do
the Foresl School leader level 3 in J¢Th￿ry 2022. Sally h(ts got a zoom meeting with the
FSA next week to f inalise everything.
Geor9ia set the dance club up which w¢ts 90ing real￿ well until we went on lock-down,
however, we will still be setting this bock up again ofter the half term.
Thank you for everyone's support over the past year. All staff have been amazing. Thank you
to Melanie for all the support given to myself & staff whilst I was absent bef ore the Easter
break. Thank you also to Sorah the Village Holl Manager for all the support with the
building & allowin9 US to use both rooms over the post year whi 1st we've been offering lon9er
hours.
I'm hoping thi$ next yea￿S f undraising is going to be a better one a we have more support
f rom Parents/Carers. We're also hoping we can do the Nkntivity for Parents/Carers this year
but we will keep checkirg the government guidance.
