Our exploration of the religious choral music of
the Slavic world explored the many facets of a
fascinating musical landscape.
**Christmas around the World**
8 & 10 December 2022
A glorious selection of Christmas music for
choir, organ and audience.
**Songs of Springtime**
19 & 25 March 2023
A wide variety of musical depictions and
evocations of flowers.
**J S Bach St Matthew Passion**
Performance of Bach’s towering masterpiece
performed with Cambridge Baroque Camerata.|

reaching wider audiences by performing in

opportunity to see and hear live music, have

As we have made an effort to maintain good

communities, our concerts in the villages
continued to draw good audience numbers.|

financial position at the end

position compared with the previous year due
to a “back to normal” season when we
resumed operations following the lifting of
Covid restrictions. We were able to generate a
comparatively higher income from
performances. We also attracted generous
donations to cover costs for our ambitious
performance of J S Bach’s St Matthew Passion,
from which we were able to claim Gift Aid.|

As the charity's trustees. you are responsible for the preparation of the
accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charilies A¢t 2011
('Ihe Act.).
Responsibilities and
basis of report
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination. I
have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
under section 145{5)Ib) of the Act.
Independent
examiner's statement
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have
come to my attention in connection with the examination (other than that
disclosed below ") which gives me cause to believe that in, any material
respect:
the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130
of the Charities A¢t', or
the accounts did not accord with the accounting records., or
the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements
Goncerning Ihe fomi and content of accounts set out in the Charities
(A¢¢ounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement
that the accounts give a 'true and fairf view which is not a matter
considered as part of an independent examination.
I have no concems and have come across no other matters in connection
