Dear Trustees.
Inter-arc Accounts
I would like to Ihank you once again for the OPFrfXtunity to cary out the independent
examination of Inter-arc accounts. Also. thanks to Howard Wallace for his assistance in
darifying any queries which arose there from.
Res eclive res
onsibilities of Trustees and Examiner
The charivs trustees consider that an audii is not required for Ihis year (under section 43 (2)
of Ihe Charities Act 1993 (Ihe Act)) and that an independent examination is needed.
It is my responsibility to=
a) examine the accounts (under seclK)n 43 of the Act)
b) lo follow the procedures laid down in the General Directions gNen by the Charities
Commission (under seclion 43(7){b) of the Act)
c) to state whether particular matters have come to my attention.
Basis of Inde
ndent Examine¢s statement
My examination was ¢aff￿d out in accordance wtth General Directions gNen by the Chartties
Commission. An examination includes a rewew of the accounting records kepi by the charity
and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records.11 also includes
consideration of any unusual items or disdosures in the accounts and seeking explanations
from the trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all
the evidence Ihat would be required in an audit and consequentty I do not express an audit
opinion on the accounts.
Inde
ndent Examinels slatement
In the course of my examination. no matter has come to my attention:
a) which gwes me reasonable cause to believe that in any Material respect the trustees
have not met the requiremenls to ensure thal=
1) proper accounting records are kept (in aC￿rdan￿ with sectK)n 41 of the Act)
2) accounts are prepared which agree wrth the acLounting records and comply
with the accounting requirements of the Act.
b) to which. in my opinion, attentK)n should be drawn in order to enable proper
understanding of the accounts to be reached
Yours sincerely.
