The Trustees presented th￿r report along with the financial statement of the charity for the
year ended 31 December 2025. The financial statements comply with the charlty's
constitution, applicable law and requiremenis of the Ststement Recommended Practice
(SORP 2005) "accounting and reporting by chanties-.
Status and objects
The Church is a registered charity established to use its income for pursuil of ils objects.
The govemance of Harton Street Pansh of Celestial Church of Chrisl is vested in ils trustees.
The membership retains unto itself the right of exdusive self-govemment in all phases of its
Irf8 and organisation.
It recognises the needs for mutual counsel and cooperation which are common among
Celestial Church of Christ churches. The Church will cooperate with and mutually work with
other organisations, its members. and Celestial Church of Christ world-wide parishes lo
pursue its objects which are.
a) The advancement of the Christian religion by propagating the Gospel of Jesus Christ
in accordance with the lenels of Celeslial Church of Christ through evangelism,
education and training. induding printing. publishing. distributing and circulating books,
joumals and other materials which in the opinK)n of the trustees would enable
achievement of this objecL
b) To provida for the relief of members of the Cdestial Church of Christ vtho are in need.
cl To advance the education of members of the Celestial Church of Christ and to provide
social welfare and facilities for recreation and leisure time occupation with the aim of
improving Ihe condilions of lrfe of such members.
d) Harton Slreet Parish to be weltare ￿￿tred charitable organisation vthich caters for its
members and the ccffimunity at large.
e) The Church is not. and shall not be registered. under the Marriage (Same Sex
Couples) Act 2013 Section 43 for the purpose or in or(Jer that, a same marriage
cefemony ￿Uld take place in the Church building.
Risk Management Statement
The Trustees are av￿re of the major risks to which the thurch is exwsed and consider that,
having regards to the S￿le and nature of tts operations, the current system of controls is
effective. taking into consideration the following.
Health and safety policy is being reviewed in line with changes in regulations.
A Child Protection pdicy has been adopted by the church.
Adequate insurance cover is taken on building contents and wblic liatilty.
Organisational structure, governance and management
The church is govemed by a Board of Trustees. who are elected to serve the Church and run
ils affair5. Annually the Board reviews the range of skills it has available and uses Its power of
CO-OPtion to ensure that gaps are filled. These are ncKmally members of the church who are
vdunteers.

Trustees are appointed by nomination of interested churth members and subsequenuy voted
inlo office to serve a two-year renewable te￿.
Activilies and achievements
The Board of Trustees has considered the Charty Commission guidan￿ on public interest
benefit in the principal activities of the church. In the year under review, the Church
encouraged and welcomed members of the community to live oul their faith by providing a
pla￿ of worship and fellowship. 11 offers various communty events and activities to facilitate
relief for persons in condition of need, hardship or distress by demonstrating the love and
spirrtual power of OLJr Lord Jesus Christ through= ministerial outreach. relev8nt practical helps.
communty education, musical concerts, youth mentoring, bible leaching, community day.
worship and fellowship.
Revlew of activities
The church celebrated its Annual Harvest during the year in August 2025 and the Children's
Week. These programs attracted an average cumulative of 2.159 participants from various
ethnic backgrounds in London. outside London within England and Nigeria.
Charitable 8clivities which were organised ftir the largely migrant community includes=
Periodical visit to Old People's h￿te$ e.g.. Lewisham Old Pecple's Home and Club 99
in Deptford

Review of finances
As shown in the financial ieport, the Charity's income from member donations in the financial
year ended 31 December 2025 was £81.231 {2024.. £75,503)., total payments made by the
Charity amounted to £61,607 {2024.. £63.655) leaving net receipts of £19,62412024.. £11,848).
Total cash funds at the year ended 31 De￿mber 2025 was £92,462 {2024.. £72,838). Celestial
Church of Christ funds are held in interest-bearing funds with its bankers. and this yield an
inleresl amount of £947 during the year.
Reserves Pollcy
This will provide sufficient funds to cover Ihe thurch overhead and its objectives and to
improve membership attendant. It is the policy of the church lo retain unrestricted funds al a
level that will nol constrain tts financial commttment. This will provide sufficient funds to cover
the church overhead and its objectives.
Plans for the future
To Develop tho Vicarage and have a counselling room for women abused by their partner and
set up a computer room which facilitate leaming,. and to change the instruments of the Choir.

The Trustees are responsible for preparats'on of financial statements that give a true and fair

and detection of fraud and other irregularities.

I report on the financial ststements of Harton Street Parish of the Celestial Church of Christ
for the year ended 31 December 2025. which are set out on pages 8 to 9.
Respectlve Responsibilities of th¢ Trustees and Examiner
The charity's Trustees are responsible for the preparation of the financial statements. The
charitls Trustees consider thal an audit is not required for this year under section 14412) of
the Charities Act 2011 (the 2011 Aci)) and that an independent examination is needed.
It is my responsibility to=

Basis of Independent Examiners, Report
My examination was carried out in accordance wilh the general directions given by the Charity
Commission. An examination indudes a review of the accounling records kept by the Charity
and a comparison of the finanaal statements presenled wtth those recnrds. It also includes
consideration of any unusual items or disdosures in the financial statemenls and seeking
explanations from you as Trustees concerning any such matters. The prO￿d￿reS undertaken
do not provide all the evidence that would be required as to whether the financial statement
present a tnje and fair view and the rewrt is limiied to those matters set out in the statement
below.
Independent Examiners. Statement
In connection with my examination. no matter has come to my attention:
which gives me reasonable cause lo believe that in any material respect the requirements=
. to keep accounling records in accordance wrth section 130 of Ihe 2011 Act,. and
to prepare financial ststements vthich accord with the accounting re(x)rds and comply with
