TREASURERS REPORT to the TRUSTEES

FOR THE YEAR TO 31[ST] DECEMBER 2024

Income: Income for the year increased to £59,422.37 due in large part to the very generous legacy form the Estate of Mrs Pamela Janes.

Other Income

£55,545.58 Mrs P Janes Legacy £2,153.00 FOSM members standing orders. £597.25 Interest on CBF Deposit Account £300.97 Interest from the money 95day bank deposit account £815.57 Tax reclaimed through Gift Aid for 2022.

Note: Gift aid for 2023 has been claimed and shows (£572.38) in the 2025 accounts

Expenditure: During the year was up from £3,152.61 to £7985.33:

In view of the significant costs associated with repairs to the damaged plaster above the chancel steps the Mrs Janes’ legacy could not have been timelier and will enable scaffolding to be erected to determine the cause and extent of the problem. Until these questions are answered it is not possible to predict what the final cost will be.

Looking to the future, it is highly likely that we will need to undertake some additional fundraising through increasing membership, annual donations and encouraging legacies.
