Pre-school charity goals
To provide a safe learning environment and to maintain areas of play inside and outside the
setling so that children and explore. learn and play safely.
To maintain staff ratios to ensure each child receives the support and education thy need.
To ensure staff undertake the statutory training required and they continue their personal
development courses to assist the children in their education and personal development.
Finance
The key financial indicator is based on the level of take up on the Pre school places available. This
determines the level of income and small grants needed to meet the overheads. The largest
overhead being the staff salaries. The Pre-school is still having difficulties in balance the finances
due the short fall in Government funding.
Future Activities
A decision was taken to delay the refurbishment of the garden and play area and the focus was to be
placed on the planning for opening a baby facility for O- 2 year of age.
Achievements
In March 2024 the Pre-school achieved the rating of good, with overall effectiveness in all areas
from the Ofsted Inspection.
The Pre-school continues to issue news letters via the parental portal to improve communication
and keep parents and carers up to date with activities within the Pre-school.
With the help of our parents, carers, volunteers and the community we hope that we can continue
to support the children and their families,
