2022 – 12 consultations for behaviour, 38 Surrender forms were sent out resulting in 27 rehomes – 10 Bitches & 17 Dogs with 2 PTS one with severe behaviour issues and one with health issues, avg age 4.5
2023 – Are seeing an increase in dogs being sold via Gumtree most saying they are KC registered when in fact they are unregistered litters.
May saw the death of Clive Higgins, he will be sadly missed. So coming to terms and finding our feet.
In terms of dogs – so far we consulted on 15 for behaviour, issues 22 surrender forms resulting in 18 rehomes – 8 bitches & 10 dogs including 10 week old Stanley. 2 PTS 1 again with aggressive tendencies (was donated from a gumtree purchase) and Kibwe at 11 on Friday with Liver failure.
July saw us attend Chieveley and although numbers were down we still took £900 for welfare.
The Rosehill Jamboree in Sep saw and increase in numbers around 100 plus people with 75 dogs and we raised £1700. And 1 dog finding their forever home. Thanks to all who supported us.
In terms of finance for 2022
Total Income £636k, primarily due to a £600k legacy £36K without the legacy down £1K on 2021
Total Expenditure £61K up £40k on 2021 increase in both Vet £16k & Kennel fees £14k
Resulting in a profit of £574K
