The object of the Charity Account is to accumulate monies from investments, donations and various fund-raising events throughout the year and to distribute the funds to Local, National and International charities or causes as dictated by Rotary Club of Retford members at monthly business meetings.

The level of income from fund-raising is dictated by the generosity of the public.

There are no paid employees. The Trustees are members of the Club Executive Committee who are elected to the Committee by periodic ballot.

Any major risks to which the Charity is exposed have been identified by the Trustees, reviewed and systems have been established to mitigate those risks.

The Trustees have considered the Charity Commissioner's general guidance on public benefit when distributing funds to UK charities.

Income during the year 2023-2024 - £68,166.86 - Expenditure £66,703.67

Unspent income reserves are carried forward and remain available for distribution in future years.

Approved by members at the Business Meeting held on 14" April 2025 and signed by the Trustees on their behalf.
