Structure, govemance and management
The charity was established by a constitution adopted on 21 April 1994.
Objectives and activities
The advancement ol the religious or charitable work of the Methodist Church and in particular the support
ol Meihodist ministers.
The charity achieves its objectives by maintaining the property of the charity, making donations lo
charitable causes and Ihe Methodist Church in Bangor and Holyhead.

The charity's income decreased by £4,762 compared with the previous year and combined with increased
donations resulted in net payments lor the year of £14.091 which compares with nel receipts of £6.995
for the year before. Operaiional cash reserves at the year end were at £28,28212024 £42,3731- The
trustees consider these reserves are adequale to meettheir primary obligation of maintainingthe
property of the charity.

I report on the accounts of the charity for the year ended 31 August 2025 set out on pages 4 10 5.
Respectlve responslbllltles of trustees and examlner
The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparabon of the accounts. The charity's trustees consider that an
audit is not required for this pericNJ under section 144{2} of the Chants"es Act 2011 and that an independent
examination is needed.

follow the procedures laid down in the General Directsons given by the Charty
Commission under section 14515llb) of the Charities Act 2011 and
slate whether particular matters have come to my attention.
Basis of tho independent examinerfs report
My examination was carried out in accordance with the General Directions given by the Charity Commission. An
examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts
presented with those records. 11 also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts
and seeking explanations from the trustees Concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not
provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit and consequenty I do not express an audit opinion on
the accounts.
