Objects: (A) To Promote The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of The Customhouse And Silvertown And South Wards Of The London Borough Of Newham Without Distinction Of Sex Sexual Orientation Political Religious Or Other Opinions By Associating Together The Residents Of The Area Of Benefit, The Local And Other Public Authorities Voluntary And Other Organisations In A Common Effort To Provide Facilities For Recreation And Leisure-Time Occupation With The Objects Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Said Residents. (B) To Establish A Community Centre And To Maintain And Manage The Same (Whether Alone Or In Co-Operation With Any Local Authority Or Other Body Or Person) For Activities Promoted By The Company And Its Constituent Bodies In Furtherance Of The Above Objects. (C) To Undertake Such Other Charitable Activities As The Committee Hereinafter Constituted May Deem Fit To Aid And Support The Local Community Within The Area Of Benefit Particularly The Provision Of Community Facilities With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For Such Persons
