Activities
WhitbyDAG runs a full-time information service, welfare benefits outreach and wheelchair and scooter loan services. We give information on access and perform access audits. We run a Membership Scheme offering educational, social and leisure activities to disabled people and carers and offer a wide range of supported voluteering activities.
Objects: 1) To Benefit People In Whitby Who Are Disabled Or Carers For Disabled People By Providing Services Which Facilitate Independence In Daily Living 2) To Promote Access To All Public Buildings For Disabled People 3) To Enhance The Integration Into The Community Of Disabled People By The Provision Of Information And Advice Services To Relieve The Needs Of People Caused By Their Disability 4)to Advance The Education Of Disabled People, Carers, Providers Of Services Of Disabled People And The Public In General By The Provision Of Such Information And Advice Services
