available reserves of £79.08112024.. £73.0341. These reserves are maintained to ensure continuity of service delivery in th
event of a temporary shortfall in income.

The management of the company is the responsibiltr of the Trustees who are elected and co-opted under the terms of the
Articles of Association.

The charitv 15 ultimately governed by the Board of Trustees who agrees and monitors the Forward plan and approves all the

Trustees are souÉht for ihe Board spe¢ifi£alty to add value to the charity. This Is both In ierms of creatlng a Board that Is
representative of the community the Charity serves and one thai has all the skills and experience required to properly carry
out the work of the ¢h3rilv.
When a potentièl trustee 1$ identified, they a￿ invited to attend a number of Board meetings in the Capacity of Observer.
Once they and the Board have gained understanding of each other they are nominated lor the portion of trustee. The existing
trustees vote by way of a show of hands and a unanimous decision is soy8ht. The vote is urried out in private without the
prospectlve trustee belng present.
Most trustees are famlliar with the practical work of a charity. New trustees undergo an orientatlon dèy to brlef them on their
legal obllgatlons under charity and COM￿n¥laW, the content of the Memorandum and Articles of associatlon, the committee
and deci51on making, the business plan and recent financial performances of the charity. Trustees are encouraged to attend
