3. Overvlew of prevlous year- MD
Last 12 months have been a positive and good year. Successful organised nipper carnival held in
Rest 8ay and was a huge success and great feedback received. We have scheduled one for 2025.
Welsh Still Waters, GB'S and Beach great results from all sections of the club, The breadth and
depth of experience is growing.
MD thanked all committee members for a first year in Chair and the club has had a successful
year

Training Officer - AM
i. Busy year, lots of awards completed, very strong delivery from all club trainers
ii. Good year of patrols
iii. Positive cornments received from outside of the club for all athletes who
undertook awards
Iv. 14 completed level I, 10 completed level 2 and 7 completed level 3.
v. Higher numbers again for this year 2025. Already off to a busy start, with early
assessments. There has been significant changes to the award criteria and
process. Which we have adapted.
vi. Ski competenol now to be renewed if over 5 years old
vii. Minimal requirement is now Level I to complete.
5. Account5 - CP
Awaiting final accounts back from the accountants. The serrfice with current accountant
is no longer free of charge and likely to be £400+ going forward.
CP speaking with new accountant who has kindly offered to do accounts FOC
Last year accounts to be finalised due to change of accountant. Current indications on
income and expenditure £38,000- Income and £30,000 Expenditure, with a £8K balance.
Last year we broke even - surplus is artificially overstated by £4597 due to SLSA Wales
failing to invoice Nipper Stillwaters 2024 £1497 and Nipper Camp 2024 £3100.
This year not likely to be in the positive due to SLSA Wales 2024 delayed invoicin8 but
targeting to break even.
Successful fundraising received of £3K
Halo pool fees have increased in 2025 to £193.20 per 2 hour session and we may need to
consider a potential increase in weekly fees in September 2025.
We need to give I months, notice to the pool if not required during the summer months
CP to circulate accounts once received and upload to the Charity Commission Website
once complete.

Safety cover done for the Trident Triathlon, awaiting request again for this year.
Donation was made to the club for this.
Great performance for Welsh, GB for all sections in pool and beach.
RLSS Wales Commonwealth where there have been recent members to represent Wales
Team GB selected members for representation
Recognised Rest Bay members in New Zealand for lifeguards
