Overview from 2023: Lots of new members, awards and new Welsh caps! Good year and progress. Everyone is happy with what was agreed last year.

Officers Report
Secretary – Absent
Training Officer (AM) – Last year was very busy, for both the club and the region. AM extended his thanks to the other TA’s in the club. AM has asked that a list of those who need awards comes to him ASAP. Club to run two training courses for awards this year. One in the early season and one after the competitions. RNLI have changed their fitness tests to include two parts of the NVBLQ. This shall relieve some of the burden from SLSA Wales. AM or HM to attend to verify training.
Treasurer – Last year’s current account problems were recapped. After trying to add CP as a signatory to the Barclays Account, they shut the account down. CP opened a new account with Lloyds to keep up with payments needed. Barclays apologised in the time and reinstated the account, so now the club has two general accounts. JP is still assisting CP with the treasurer duties as part of a handover process. Due to the problems incurred with Barclays, we do not currently have last year’s accounts, but these will be presented to the committee as soon as they are available. Card machine has been in use since January 2024 and is making a positive difference within the club.

6. Chairman’s Report: CB is standing down as Chairman today. This will be his last meeting in charge. He wanted to thank those who have assisted him over the years. He is very proud to have been a part of the club and its journey, the club is in a good place and it is a good time to step down.
7. Election of Officers /Committee: Matt Davies has been appointed the new Chairman. All agreed. All other Officers have been re-elected. Secretary – Clare James, Treasurer – Chris Page and Training Officer – Andy Morgan.
Committee Members: Ollie Griffiths and Simon Diamond have stood down from the committee. A big thank you to all they have done.
