Para 1.17 and 1.19 The Bhutan Society Trust Fund is a small charity created in 1994 to support good causes in the Kingdom of Bhutan. Since then, it has helped disabled and disadvantaged children and adufts, supported education, health, ancient building, cultural and horticultural projects and worked with Bhutanese not-for-profit partners, wilh small, focused grants. A grant of £2,000 was awarded to Hope 108 to continue its support of disadvantaged schoolchildren. £1,100 to Opening Your Heart to Bhutan enabled building a new path at Ketokha Primary School. Financial Review Review of the charity's financial position at the end of the period Para 1.21 The Trust's Net Assets were £120,210 as at 31st December 2023, up by £11,689. The increase was driven by 2023's surplus, partly offset by a decrease of £2.149 in our Charifund Units (the year-to-year revaluation of investments which is mandatory for charity accounts).
