THE CHARrrABLE FUND OF THE ROTARY CLUB OF CHICHEsfER PRIORY CHARrrY NUMBER 1041210 TRUSTEES'REPORT FOR THE YEAR ENDED 30th JUNE 2022. As in previous years the Charity has worked closely with the Rotary Club of Chichester Priory. Unfortunately many of the Clubs activities were cancelled because of the COVID pandemic so for the year 2021122 the Club for the second year running has earned a relatively low level of income. The only major sources of income came from the Christmas and other collections at the Chichester City Cross and our annual Dragon Boat event. The income is enhanced by transferring in balances from two former club events, the Chichester Challenge and the Chichester IOK which sadly no longer take place. Major donations were made to some Internatlonal causes such as the Afghan Refugees, the Tonga Disaster and the Ukrainian Appeal. Locally we supported the Dementia Support Group and the Community support group which provide meals to the needy and lonely as well as a number of smaller donations to well deserving local causes as well as Rotary International Charities including Polio Plus. Last year saw a change in membership of all three trustees but the new Trustees, as previously, intend to continue working with the Rotary Club of Chichester Priory for the foreseeable future.
