STRUCTURE: The Dentons UKMEA LLP Charitable Trust is a small charitable trust administered entirely within the firn) Dentons UK and Middle East LLP.

POLICY.. The Trnstees, policy is to supply grants to deserving charitable causes by reviewing the applications received before finally deterniining which grants are to be made. All manner of charitable causes are considered. with prefeTence given to charities with whom there is some sort of special Connection with Dentons UK and Middle East LLP or which are local to Dentons UK and Middle East LLP offices. The Trust also supp)rts the fundraising efforts of individual members of staff. Reserves. The income for the Trnst derives from Dentons annually and the Trust does not generally enter long terni commitments. Risk. The Trustees have considered the major risks which impact the work of the Trnst and consider that there are controls in place to mitigate their potential effect. Appointment and Election. Four UK partners are appointed at any one time as tn￿tees, one of whi¢h must be the UK Managing Partner or Director, with administrative support from the CSR Manager. An additional partner from Dentons, Dublin office has been appoiDled as the ttust will begin making donations to small charities in Ireland with effect from l May2021 Induction and Training. The induction process for any newly appointed Trnstee comprises a meetiJ)g with one of the existing Trnstees and CSR Manager. followed by a meeting with th¢ other Trustees. REVIEW OF THE DEVELOPMENT ACTWITIES AND ACHIEVEMENTS OF THE CHARtTY DURING THE YEAR.. During thc past yEaT the Dentons UKMEA LLP Charitable Trnst has received a number of applications and made 113 wts amounting to £13 1,950. Charitable grants ranged from £125 to £6,(K)O. £3,500 was donated by partners in one-off donations due Éo COVID, all of which was donated to charities.

FINANCIAL POSITIONT OF THE CHARITY.. The Dentons UKMEA LLP Charitable Trust is funded by Dentons UK and Middle East LLP under the Gift Aid and Charitsble Donations legislation. Funding is reviewed at each meeting of the T￿￿tee8. The Trust had a balance brought forward of £120.826. Income for the year was £166,865 and expenditure £133.210 leaviTJg a year-end balance of £154.481. NOTES: The accounts have b￿n pr¢par¢d on the r¢¢eipts and payments basis in accordance with the Charities SORP except where noted in the Statement of Assets l￿d Liabililies. I have completed my examination. I confirm that no matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect:

  1. accounting records were not kept in respect of the charity as required by section 130 of the 2011 Act; or 2. the accounts do not accord with those records
