It provided learning through play using language, toys and equipment and social skills for children under the statutory school age. The school worked towards early learning goals and offered a specially tailored curriculum and the support of a personal keyworker to achieve this. Pre-school was available to any member of the public willing to pay the modest fees, or who was supported by the local authority.
