This new programme will provide 5uiyor¢ signposting, skills dcvelopment and other opportunities to young people as they navigate the world beyond school. It will also act as a tracking mechanism forThe Switchenhancingourimpactmeasur¢mentbyrecordingyoungpeople's deslinalion& Working with employers. we will support them in developing their tslent pipelines via our Alumni members,helpingto build amor¢ inclusive anddiverseworkforce.Aspartofthisproj￿tw¢hav¢ SeCu￿d funding to build anonline Alumni Portal for launth in 2022-23 which will act as a reson￿e reposik)ry. a jobs board and a SI￿]p0St1llg iool for opportunities for young people. The pandemic forced us to develop a 'virMal wotk exp¢rience'programme. which although popular with Sch(￿]5 and businesses, is no substitute fOrthe￿al Ihing. In the stakeholder consultation work experie￿¢ was the leading programme soughi by s¢hool career leads, pupils, and Headfracher4 but only 90/0 of business(3 said they would offer it. We plan tr> deliver 1,000 placements next academic yearand it will be a huge challenge forour organisatio￿ We need to re-engage previous hosting cmployers and secure new ones.
