through the local Church.

The primary objective of Christ Church is to furtber the Kingdom of God in l£amington Sp and
beyond. Ths outwoth in two ways:
The effective pastoral care and adMI￿tratiOn of the local church and all that entails
in¢luding Biblic￿ preacbing and teachin& corporate worship, care of m¢mbers,
¢bildren's activitie4 etc.
Th¢ Continuing mission towards the toivn of Leamington looknng to extend the Kingdom
of God through the preacbing of the Gospel of J¢sus Cbrist both in word and d¢¢
Pub]ic Benefit Statement
Cbrist Church Leamiwon firthered its clwitable obiectiv¢s for the public benefit in th¢ year by:
Holding weekly public prayer and worship meetings with t￿b]ng$ b&8ed on tbe Bible.
Ensuring that such meetings were fully a￿essIble to those with disabilities.
Hosting multipl¢ 'Alpha' courses to help individua]s explore the Christian Faith.
Continuing Genexis - an ¢nt¢rprAS¢ serving a large local and global audience exploring big
questions in Faitty Science and Philosophy. Our output was two large free ev¢nts on¢ at
Coventy Cathedral and the othff in London.
OrgaDising fr¢¢ public 'Life Supper, events for individuals to learn about the Christian Faith.
Providing cbildcatt facilities for those wisbing to attend worship with young famili¢8.
Hosting weekly Tuesday mainly music sessions for par¢nts and ¢arers and their cbildr¢n
under 5 y¢ars of age.
Hosting weekly group aimed atproviding spiritual and prncticai support.
stsrted new Thursday weekly mainly play sessioJLq for parents and carers and their children
under 5 years of age.
Started a youth (Refresh) for 11-14 year olds on Sunday evenings.
Took two interns, one to be involved in music and worship and the other to Work with young
people.

Reserves Poll¢y
All of the funds of the Charity are Unrestricte￿ and it manages its expenditure to make
sure that it keeps sufficient funds to meet futur¢ needs.
Revlew of the Perlod
The building has continu¢d to b¢ used by outside organisations. Lwnington Vineyard
Learning Centre (LVLC) continues their teaching centre using the top two floors for
teaching Maths and English GCSE during terni time.
There was a ladies, breakfast held at the building in the year and we continue with
monthly ladies, film nights.
We had a monthly prayer and worship session for students 20s to 308.
There were four Life Supper outreacb evenings.
We ran three Alpha courses and a Youth Alpha course for people to explore Christianity.

Statement of Trustees, Responslbilltles
The trustees ar¢ responsible for preparing the TnL8t¢¢s' Annual Report and the financial
ststements in accordance with applicable law and United Kingdom Accounting Standards
(United Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting Practic¢).
Th¢ law applicable to ¢hariti¢s iti England and Wales/Nortbern Ireland requires the
trustees to prepare financial ststements for ¢ath fU￿nCIal year which give a true and fair
view of the CharAty and of the incoming resources and application of resources of the
Charity for that period. In preparing these fmancial statements. the Tn￿teeS are required
select suitable accounting policies and then apply them consistently*

The trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records that disclose with
reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the Charity and enable them to
ensure that the Financial Statements comply with the Clwities Act 2011, th¢ Charity
(A¢Tr)unts and Reports) Regulations 2008 and the provisions of the Trnst Deed. They are
responsible for safeguarding the assets of the Charity and hence for taking
reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.
The trnstees intend to ask the existing aC￿vntants to undertake the independent
examination of the Charlty in the following year.
Th¢ trust¢¢s are responsible for the maintenance and integrity of the Charity and financial
infomrdtion inGlud¢d on th¢ Charity's w¢bsit¢. Legislation in the United Kingdom
governing the preparation and dissemination of fittsncial statements may diff￿ from the
legislation in other jurisdiction8.

I report on the accounts of the Charity for the year ended 31 December 2024 wbich are
set out on pages 8 to 12.
Respective Responslbilities of Trnstse8 and Examiner
The Charity's tn￿teeS are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The Charity's
trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 144 (2) of the
Charitics Act 2011 (the Chariti¢$ Act) and that an ind¢p¢ndent examination is needed.
It is my responsibility to:
examine the accounts under section 145 of the Charities ACL
to follow the procedures laid down in the g¢neral Directions given by the Charity
Conllnission (under section 145(5)0)) of the Charities Act), and
to state whether particular matters have come to my attention.
Basis of Independent Examinergs Statement
My ¢xamination was carried out in accordaDC¢ with general Directions given by the
Charity Conu))i￿On. An emmination includes a review of the a¢¢ounting records kept
by th¢ Charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with thos¢ records. It also
includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts and seeking
explanations from you as trustees concerning any such nutters. The procedures
undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and
consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a 'lrue and fair
view" and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statenient below.

Basls of Preparation
The natur¢ of the charity's operations and principal activities are shown on pages
2to5.
The charity constitutes a public benefit entity as defined by FRS 102. The
fmancial statements have been prepared in accordanc¢ with Accounting and
Reporting by Clwities: Statement of Recommended Practice appli¢able to
haTiti¢s pr¢paring their accounts in accordan¢¢ with the Financial Reportitig
Standard applicable in the UK and R¢public of Ireland (FRS 102) issued on 16
July 2014 (as updated through Update Bulletin I published on 2 February 2016).
the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the United Kingdom and Republic
of Ireland (FRS 102) and UK Generally Accepted Practice as it applies from I
January 2015.
The charity has applied Update Bulletin l as published on 2 February 2016 and
does not include a casb flow statement on the grounds that it is applying FRS 102
Section IA.
The financial statements have b¢¢n prepared to give a 'tru¢ and fair, view and
have departed from the Clwities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 only
to the extsnt required to provide a 'true and fair view,. This departure has
involved following the Accounting and ReportAng by Charities: Statement of
Recommended Practice applicable to clwities preparing their accounts in
accordance with the Finati¢ial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and
Republi¢ of Ireland (FRS 102) i&sued on 16 July 2014 rather than the Accounting
and Reporting by Clwities: Statement of Recommended Practice eff¢ctive frorn I
April 2005 which has since be¢n withdraw
The fllwicial statements are prepared on a going conc¢m basis under the
historical Cost convention, modified to include certain items at fair value. The
financial stat¢m¢nts are presented in sterling which is the fimctional currency of
the clwity.
The significant accounting policies applied in the preparation of these fmancial

2.7 Service Costs
Includes costs of the preparation and examination of statutory accounts, the costs
of Tnlstee meetings and the costs of any legal advice to Trustees on governance
or constitutional matters.

there are no conditions to be met relating to the grant wbicb remain in the control
