**Objects:** THE PROMOTION OF PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE AND APPRECIATION OF BRASS BAND MUSIC BY MEANS OF THE PRESENTATION OF BRASS BAND WORKS OF AN OBJECTIVELY HIGH AESTHETIC MERIT TO ADVANCE THE MUSICAL ABILITY OF YOUNG PLAYERS TO SUPPORT ANY CHARITABLE CAUSE AS THE COMMITTEE SHALL DEEM WORTHY

**Activities:** The Sheffield Recreation band was formed in 1900 and has a long history and heritage with the city centre of Sheffield and also the steel industry within the wider areas of the city, of which the band are very proud. In May 2025 the band will celebrate its 125th year. We have worked very hard to attract a wide age range within our band 13 years to over 70 years.
