Briefstatement	Briefstatement	ofthe	StJohns Pre-School playgroup is currently dependent on LEA funding sustain its activities, as earned income from fees alone would not allow	to
charity's	policy	on reserves	StJohns Pre-school Playgroup to continue operating. To avoid closure	if
			funding difficulties were to happen the Committee board had agreed to
			keep to a certain level offinancial reserves to ensure that main
			operations can continue fora period of6months. This includes redundancy pay and staff wages at an amount off38000.
			Reserves are also kept to comply with staff training as part ofstatutory guidance as part ofthe EYFSframework. Finally, reserves are also held
			in case something happened to the church and alternative
			accommodation had to be found.
			The committee are aware that it is important funds are spent as and
			when required and that the emphasis is not solely on maintaining
			reserves.
