In the absence of funding, the only activities have been on a volunteer basis, in collaboration with a self-help group of refugee women. It is likely that we shall shortly close down the charity.
Objects: (1)The Relief Of Persons Whose Ethnic Origins Are In The Horn Of Africa, And Who Are In Conditions Of Need, Hardship And Distress. (11)The Promotion Of Public Health By The Provision Of Advice On Alcohol And Drug Dependency And AIDS Prevention And By Conducting Research Into Mental Health Problems And Disseminating The Useful Results Thereof (111)The Provision, Or Assistance In The Provision, Of Facilities For Recreation Or Other Leisure-Time Occupation For Persons Who Have Need Of Such Facilities As Aforesaid By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disablement, Poverty Or Social And Economic Circumstances, With The Object Of Improving Their Conditions Of Life.
