**Objects:** 2. PURPOSESThe object of the association (the objects) is to advance theeducation of pupils in the school in particular by:2.1 Developing effective relationships between the staff, parents andothers associated with the school2.2 Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment whichsupport the school and advance the education of the pupils.

**Activities:** The PTA exists to raise money for the children of Silsoe Lower School. Money is raised from events held for the whole family such as our Christmas Market, Summer Fayre and Children's Bingo Nights and those arranged for parents, for example our very successful May Ball. Money is spent according to the needs of the school. This may be on IT or other equipment or on fun activities for the children.
