Constitution The charity is govemed by Constitution. The charity is set up as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation with only the Trustees that can vote.
Management The charity is managed by a Committee of Trustees who meet monthly. In addition, an Annual General Meeting is held which is open to all.
Professional indemnity The YEC carries Professional Indemnity cover for all officials and Trustees of the charity.
Fiection of trustees
All the Trustees are volunteers who have an interest in our objective. Generally, trustees contact the charity when we evnrece 3 need to increase the number or by word of mouth to our representatives within the area that is covered.

Objective
To advance the education of young farmers of the public in agriculture, home crafis, country life and related subjects and in the interests of the social welfare of such persons to provide facilities for recreation anf other leisure time occupations.
Public benefit
When planning and executing our activities, which are pursued in order to achieve our objective, we as a commiltiee have taken into account the Charity Commissioners guidance on public benefit.

There are currently in place policies covering the following:

Financial review’
Reserves at 31 July 2025 were £24,623. Surplus in the year was £8,653.

Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner
The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The charity’s trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 144 of the Charities Act 2011 (the 2011 Act) and that an independent examination is needed.
It is my responsibility to:

® examine the accounts under section 145 of the 2011 Act; bed to follow the procedures laid down in the General Directions given by the Charity Commissioner under section 145(5(b) of the 2071 Act and

& to state whether particular matters have come to my attention.
Basis of independent examiner's statement
My examination was carried out in accordance with General Directions given by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. it also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and the seeking of explanations from you as trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a “true and fair view’ and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below.
In the course of my examination, no matter has come to my attention:

which gives me reasonable cause to believe that, in any material respect, the trustees have not met the requirements to ensure that:

: hd proper accounting records are kept in accordance with section 130 of the 2011 Act; and

hd accounts are prepared which agree with the accounting records and comply with the accounting requirements of the 2011 Act; or
-
to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
