**Objects:** TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF PERSONS UNDER THE AGE OF 25 IN PARTICULAR, WHO OR WHOSE PARENTS OR GUARDIANS ARE RESIDENT WITHIN THE ROTARY DISTRICT 1170 AND WHO HAVE BEEN NOMINATED BY A ROTARY CLUB WHICH IS A MEMBER OF THE BAY GROUP OF ROTARY CLUBS BUT WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING BY THE PROVISON OF GRANTS TO ENABLE SUCH PERSONS TO TRAVEL WHETHER IN THE UNITED KINGDOM OR ABROAD TO FURTHER THEIR EDUCATION AND DEVELOPMENT.

**Activities:** We provide monetary grants to persons under the age of 25 who reside within the Rotary District 1170 and who are nominated by a member of the Torbay Group of Bay Clubs to travel whether in the UK or abroad to further their education and developement
