Satkaar operates under a service level agreement with AH & CS Warwickshire County Council and offers day care and other support services for elderly Asian ladies and ladies with mental health problems living in the South Warwickshire area in a culturally appropriate and ethically sensitive environment. Service users are referred by Warwickshire County Council. Service operates Monday to Friday.
Objects: To Promote The Relief Of Those Members Of The Asian Community In Need By Reason Of Age, Youth, Ill-Health Or Mental Illness Or The Promotion And Protection Of The Mental Health Of Sufferers Of A Recognised Or Diagnosed Mental Condition Or Other Disadvantage In Any Manner Which Now Is, Or Hereafter May Be, Deemed By Law To Be For A Charitable Purpose And Is For The Public Benefit Within The Boundaries Of The County Of Warwickshire In Particular, But Without Limitation By:1. The Prevention Or Relief Of Poverty;2. The Advancement Of Education;3. The Development Of Health And Social Care Facilities To Meet Particular Cultural Needs; 4. The Participation In A Health Promotion Scheme To Encourage Healthy Eating And Healthy Living5. The Provision Of Advice, Counselling And Assistance Which Directly Relieves The Needs Of The Beneficiaries.6. The Advancement Of Culture, Community Development, Citizenship, Racial Harmony Or Equality And Diversity.7 Any Other Purposes Charitable In Law.
