OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES
Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document :
To promote the advancement of the Islamic religion.
To provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation. To establish and furnish a mosque and community Centre.
ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE
Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year:
During the year under review cash funds received increased from £144,432 to £148,492. We also have a loan from last year of £64,000 which has increased to £76,155 this year which was provided by the Masjid Funeral Committee. This loan will be repaid over the next few years from future collections.
Furlough payments recieved by end of June 2021 of £71,543 which was paid out as part of salaries and had a nil balance by end of June 2021.
Rapid covid centre established in December 2020. Council payments received until end of June 2021 of
£122,610. The test centre employees were paid which amounted to a cost of £65,415 by end of June 2021. The remainder balance is held for future use.
The building construction and refurbishment continues this year.

Report of the Independent Examiner to the trustees on my examination of THE JAMIA MASJID BILAL AND MUSLIM COMMUNITY CENTRE. (REGISTERED CHARITY NUMBER 1039448)
This report on the accounts of the Jamia Masjid Bilal and Muslim Community Centre for the year ended 30 June 2020, accounts of which are set out on pages 3 to 4, is in respect of an examination carried out under section 145 of the Charities Act 2011(The Charities Act) .
Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner
The charity’s trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The charity’s trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year (under section 145 of the Charities Act 2011 (The Charities Act), and that an independent examination is needed.
It is my responsibility to:
