Sharon Spratt and Caroline Thomas trust Trustees annual report Year End, 31 December 2024 The trustees remained the same as the previous year Christopher Spratt Timothy Martin Robin Light The trust is registered charity 103 9356 constituted under a trustee dated 20th of June 1994 Regular meetings are held to agree Broad strategy consideration of grant making and day-to-day administration Risk management The trustees do consider risks which might affect the charity but being a small organisation apart from financial security of the bank account there are limited exposures to risk Objectives The principal aim of the trust is to give financial grants to people who are suffering from cancer Grant making policy Grants are only given to individuals to help with small items such as the cost of a day out for the family or a weekend break in a caravan. Grants are not given for day-to-day expenditures such as rent and all grants are limited to cancer related issues. Achievements The small donations can make a difference to sufferers .in the past year. Examples are purchase of a washing machine for an individual who had to move into a new flat some computer equipment for a child sufferer to assist in education.
