**Activities:** To advance the education of the public whether in the United Kingdom or overseas in all matters relating to the African arts in all their forms, including but not limited to theatre, dance, music, cinema, architecture, literature and the visual arts. The charity raises funds and administers the Caine Prize for African writing.
