Trustee report. Bright Sparks.

The group are still feeling the aftermath of Covid. Despite this the number of younger children has increased as shown in the accounts by the non funded children.

There has been little chance to fundraise as families are under increasing pressure due to the cost of living.

Staff wise, two members are attending training for higher qualifications and one is about to go on maternity leave.

Overheads have been reduced by good housekeeping although there has been a slight increase in wages, groceries and craft materials.

Numbers are good for the next academic year possibly due to the Ofsted rating of Outstanding.

The group looks forward to the proposed increase in Early Years funding with baited breath!

Success to the lovely little group.

Liv Moss

Trustee.
