(1) To advance the Islamic Religion in Horsham (2) To relieve poverty, hardship and distress amongst Muslims in the U.K In furtherance of the above objects the Mosque shall . (a) Make available the Charity facilities to ALL Muslims (irrespective of school of thought) and also non-muslims who are interested in Islam. (b) Organise prayer gatherings for ALL Muslims residents of Horsham and ALL visiting Muslims (irrespective of school of thought)- (c) Provide facilities for the teachings of the Holy Qurtan and the 'Sunnah' (teachings of Prophet Mohammad, pea be upon him) lo WOMEN and GIRLS (according to the Hanafi school of thought and philosophy and doctrine as prescribed by the Islamic University Darul-uloom in Deoband, India). (d) Provide facilities for the teaching5 of the Holy Qu¢an and the 'Sunnah' (teachings of Prophet Mohammad, peace be upon him) to MEN and BOYS (according to the Hanafi school of thought and philosophy and doctrine as prescribed by the Islamic University Darul-uloom in Deoband, India). (e) Arrange Islamic lectures meeb'ngs and seminars.
(B Provide facilities for the preparation of deceased Muslims for burial and also to establish a cemetery in Horsham for deceased Muslims. (g) Provide 8 facility for Nikah (marriage) of Muslims in Horsham. (h) Help and assist 'tableighi jama'ats, in meeting local Muslim residents for the purpose of furthering Islam. Inde endent Examiner's Re ort on the Accounts Report to the trusteeslmembers of Madina Mosque Horsham, on the accounts for the year ended June 30th 2024, Charity Number 1038756. Respectlve responsibilities of Trustees and examiner: The charity's trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year (under section 43 (2) of the Charities Act 1993 (the Act)) and that an independent examination is needed. It is my responsibility to.. examine the accounts (under section 43 of the Act)., to follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Charity Commission (under section 4317}Ib) of the Act)., and to state whether any particular matters have come to my attention. Basis of independont examinerfs statement: My examination was carried out in accordance with General Directions given by the Charity Commissioners. An examination includes a review of the accounting CordS kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the account, and seeking explanations from the trustees concerning such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently I do not express an audit opinion of the accounts. Independent examlner's statement: In the course of my examination, no matter has Gome to my attention.. which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in, any material respect, the trustees have not met the requirements to ensure that.. proper accounting records are kept (in accordance with section 41 of the Act),. and accounts are prepared which agree with the accounting records and comply with the accounting requirements of the Act., or 2. to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
