|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|This last year has been another successful<br>one for St Michael’s Preschool Nursery.<br>The nursery had a full Ofsted inspection in<br>the Spring term and was delighted to<br>receive Outstanding. This is a reflection of<br>the dedicated and talented staff that do<br>such a wonderful job educating the young<br>children in their care. It is also a testament<br>to the brilliant children and families in our<br>community, who bring so much to the<br>setting.<br>The setting is currently full, which a healthy<br>waiting list of families eagerly awaiting<br>places. The children who left the nursery to<br>start their new adventures in Reception in<br>various local primary schools, went off<br>prepared, excited and with a solid<br>foundational education.<br>The new starters that joined us in<br>Septemper have all settled in well, with the<br>other children working hard at their<br>teamwork skill to welcome the new children<br>and show them the ropes.<br>There has also been some networking set<br>up between St Michael’s Preschool<br>Nursery and some other EYFS settings<br>locally, which is proving to be a success of<br>skills and knowledge sharing.<br>Overall, a very busy and successful year,<br>thanks to the hard work of all involved.|

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31/08/2024. 

- **Responsibilities and** As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation **basis of report** of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”). 

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
