|Policy on grant making|Para 1.38|Making grants is something that we would<br>consider as a charity for one off projects or<br>programmes of work. We did approach The<br>National Lottery for a grant towards the<br>maintenance of our building and outdoor<br>space during this time frame, however we<br>were not successful in our application.|
|Policy on social investment<br>including program related<br>investment|Para 1.38|As we operate from a shared building we<br>work with the other users of the building to<br>invest in the maintenance and running of<br>the building. This year we were able to<br>contribute towards new flooring in the<br>centre.<br>We join together with groups in the local<br>community to run community events to<br>engage children and families. This might<br>involve fundraising for community assets.<br>This year this was evidenced through our<br>contributions to Yardley Gobion Festival<br>week and village hall craft sale.|

to make cakes for cake sales, to donate plants they have grown to sell at fundraising event or to take part in fundraising events by running stalls or activities. Other

|The charity’s principal<br>sources of funds (including<br>any fundraising)|Para 1.47|Our main source of funds is through fees.<br>The majority of children attending YGPS<br>will be funded by a government grant. In<br>addition, the Pre-School has privately<br>funded rates which vary depending on the<br>age of the child, and the length of the<br>session they will be attending. These can<br>be used to top-up hours, or in the event<br>that a child increases their hours after the<br>deadline to make changes to claiming<br>grants has passed.<br>As stated above we also rely on fundraising<br>and donation which is all spent on new<br>resources and trips for the children.|

The Administrator also has<br>a dotted line of report to the Manager with<br>whom they work with on a daily basis, and<br>works closely with the Treasurer due to the<br>significant number of financial processes<br>involved in the role.|
