Treasurers’ report 1[st] August 2024 – 31[st] July 2025

All Saints School Association (ASSA) enjoyed another successful year of fundraising. ASSA organised and ran a range of events which were enjoyed by the school community and enabled us to contribute much needed equipment to the school for the children to enjoy.

In summary, we started the accounting period with a balance of £14,983.42 and closed with a balance of £16,114.95. The income into the account was £36,961.62 and the outgoings were £35,830.09.

The children across all years enjoyed the school discos which were held on three occasions across the year. They made a combined profit of £7828.85. ASSA also contributed £650 to the year 6 Leavers’ disco to fund a Magic Mirror. Sales were again held for the children to come and purchase presents for special people in their lives from a wide range of gifts. The profit from these events was as follows: Christmas sale (£1555.57), Mother’s Day (£759.48) and Father’s Day (£665.67).

Across a number of uniform sales to new and current parents, £856.89 was raised. We took part in the ASDA cash pot for schools scheme which raised £176.77 and were also lucky enough to receive a £1000 corporate donation.

For the first time we held a comedy night which raised £285.97 and we will look at holding another one in the future. We held a busy drinks stall selling soft and alcoholic drinks at a very hot Sports Day which raised £655.19. ASSA also provided the medals for the winners.

A number of other fundraising activities took place throughout the year. A tombola at Fleet Festivities, a Christmas online raffle, Christmas card sales, firework hair, the recycling clothes bank in the school car park and Guess the number of Easter Eggs also provided important income.

We ended the year with an exciting family event when Happy’s Circus came to school! We sold approximately 430 tickets and sold merchandise and refreshments on the night which gave a total profit of £2750.37 (this is calculated across three accounting periods).

This busy fundraising year meant that we could contribute £6020.49 to buy 12 school computers and £3840 to buy Power Maths books for use in classrooms.

ASSA also provided some exciting outdoor equipment for the children to enjoy. This included new benches and tables outside in the playground and outside area for the children to sit at during lunch and break time. We were able to purchase digging equipment and a storage container to enable the children to enjoy the garden areas outside. We also funded playground equipment for all the children to enjoy and for the Young Leaders to use in their sessions at lunchtime such as badminton racquets and nets.

Overall, this was a busy year with many enjoyable events taking place which were supported both by the school community and the public. A huge thank you to the rest of the committee and the hard-working volunteers without whom we couldn’t organise these initiatives. We look forward to another year of successful fundraising!
