## **Trustees Annual Report:** We are a member of the Early Years Alliance and follow their constitution. All parents are invited to our AGM and can be voted onto the committee as a Trustee if they so wish. A minimum of 2 meetings are held each year. ## **Update of year for April 2022 – March 2023** ## **Activities:** April 2022 Easter Sponsor event was able to take place this year. All items made were on display for all parents to see. Wonderful sum of £791 raised. May 2022 Younger children ‘s theme was “Trips and Outings”, older ones “Space”. Very impressive selection of rockets flew across the room along with our “blow up planets”. Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrated during last week of term before the hols. Group Photo and individual Graduation photos taken. All leavers have been informed of the school they have been allocated. June/ July “22. Date given for the Graduation service given....can be back in the hall this year. Themes, “Julia Donaldson” and “Going to school”. “Giraffes can’t dance” was the production by the Older children, held in front of parents and friends. Sept/Oct. “22. Welcome back letters. Theme “Settling In and All about Me”. Closed for the Queen’s funeral on Sept. 19[th] . Nov/Dec. “22. Remembrance day, 11[th] , children were taken into the Memorial garden for short service and silence. Money donations brought in to make up two Christmas food hampers for the Church Christmas Fair. Individual photos in Nov. Christmas Jumper day in aid of Save the Children fund, our Nativity and Christmas party. Jan / Feb. ’23: Spring Term 1: Rev. Cath came in to speak to the older group. Regular Dance and Sports sessions, re-commenced. Themes: Both groups on “Traditional Tales”. Oral Health Resources for 1 week (provided by Tameside). A student from Ashton Sixth Form College joined us for a 2 Day placement , until the end of the Spring Term. 2 more students came in during the term on “2 week placements”. Feb/March ’23.: Spring Term 2 : Rev. Cath came in again. World Book Day…every child brought in a favourite book “to show”. All were given a free book to take home and keep. Themes: 2/3yr.olds: Flowers and Easter 3/4 yr olds: Experiments, Exploring, Easter. Easter crafts made. Easter Fundraiser took place. Every child made. An Easter item, mostly hats. These were displayed for all parents to Come in and admire. £650.80 was raised in sponsor money.
