Achievements and performance
Summary ofthe main
achievements of the charity
during the year
The Club maintained the majority of ils membership during the year and
contir)ues to subsidise part of the membership fee to support members.
The Club hosted several social events throughout the year to raise ft2nds
for Club activities and to support other charitable causes. These included
a popular Halloween event, a foam party, a Christmas Fair, and a Fish
and Chip Bingo evening.
The Club also held its annual Ha￿est Supper to thank those who have
supported the Club throughout the year. The event included an awards
ceremony recognising members for their dedication and hard work.
In addition, the Club participated in another Speed Shear event in
partnership with a neighbouring Young Farmers, Club, which proved to
be very popular.
As in previous years, the Club had a successful year of fundraising.
enabling significant donations to be made to a number of charitable
organisations.
A deficit was reported for the year, as anticipated. due to Ihe timing of
certain expenses falling across financial years. lower attendance at some
events, and an increase in charitable donations made by the Club.
