St Peters Preschool was established over 25 years ago and is located in the church vestry adjacent to St Peters Church in Droitwich. The staff and committee successfully manage the preschool together.
Objectives:
To Provide a fun and loving preschool to children aged from 2 years and 9 months to school age, that is safe, secure and caring, and working within the guidelines of early years foundation
To provide a safe environment, to prepare the children socially, intellectually and physically for School.
Enhance the development of children through play.
Achievements:
The Preschool has achieved another successful year both through child development and financially.
Welcomed another new chair person to continue the success of the running of St Peters Preschool and also 2 new members of staff who will continue to develop the intellect and physical capabilities of the children.
The training of employees through the Early Years Alliance Courses.
Purchased new books and craft materials.
Future Plans:
To continue being successful through the attendance of new starters especially with the new housing developments in Droitwich
To keep up to date with procedures set by Ofsted and Early Years Alliance
To purchase more outside play equipment, such as trampoline, footballs and goals and bats and balls.
The Preschool will attract a new manager and deputy manager in the next financial year
