Charltable Status
King George V Pre-school is constituted by Deed of Trust and is a registered
charity.
Trustees
The trustees who served during the year are detailed on the Charity Inforn]ation
page. None of the trustees received a remuneration. New trustees are appointed
by existing trustees.
Objectives and activities
The object ofthe charity remains to provide pre-school activity and
learning.when planning activities for the year the tru.ste¢s. ha.ve considered the
charity commission guidance on public benefiL
The pre-school enables children to develop their social skills and learn through
play.
Achievements & Perforniance
During the year we have promoted happy and healthy pre-school education for
all of the children that have attended.
Business and Financlal revlew
The majority of income received by the charity remains government childcare
funding for children aged 2-4. Parents also contribute fees where children are in
the pre-school for longer periods than those covered by government funding.
Costs incurred are for the safe and effective running of the pre-school, the
majority ofwhich are for staffing.
Reserves Policy
There i.s no reserves policy in place.
ststement of Trustees. responsibility
Charity law requires the trustees to prepare receipts and payments account and
statement of assets and liabilities at the end of the period, and adequately
distinguish any material special trust or other restricted fund of the charity. In
preparing those financial statements the trustees are Tequired to:_
a) Selert suitable accounting policies
b) Make judgements and estimates that are reasonable and prudent
c] State whether the policies adopted are in accordance with the appropriate
SORP on Accounting by Charities and the Accounting Regulations and with
applicable Accounting Standards, subject to any material departures
disclosed and explained in the Financial Statements.

The trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records which
disclose, with reasonable accuracy at any time, the financial position of the
charity, and enable them to ensure that the financial statements comply
with applicable Accounting Standards and Statements of Recommended
practice and the regulations made under S44 of the Charities Act 1993.
They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and
hence for taking steps for the prevention and detection of fraud or other
irregularities.

Independent examiner's report to the trustees of King George V Pre-
school
I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of King George V
Pre-school forthe year ended 31st August 2024
Responsibilities and basis of report
As the charity trustees of the Charity you are responsible for the
preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the
Charities Act 2011 (the Act).
I report in respert of my examination of the Charity's accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 act and in carrying out my examination I
have followed all the applicable directions given by the charity Commission
under Section 145 (5] (b) ofthe Art.
Independent examinerfs statement
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have
come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause
to believe that in any material respect:
l Accounting records were not kept in respert of the Charity as required by
Section 130 of the Art; or
2 The accounts do not accord with those records, or
3 the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements concerning
the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities ( Accounts and
Reports ) Regulation 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts
give a. true and fair view, which is not a matter considered as part of an
independent examination.
I have no concerns and have come across no other rnatters in connection
the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order
to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
