Section E Financial review The Pre-school operates reserve funds within its accounts. The first being for cash flow purposes. This is neSSary as we received split temi-based funding from the local government to supp5y'Free" funded plaS for 2,3&4 year old children. This is paid in arrears. This is also neSSary to cover the usual drop of in child plaS at the beginning of the school year. The second reserve is for redundancies. Both funds never exceed £20k. There is also a Fund-raising account which holds mone ained throu h fundraisin events throu hout the ear.
