## **Trustees Annual Report for Southville Primary School PTA for the year ended 31[st] August 2023** Charity Name: Southville Primary School Parent Teachers Association Charity registration Number: 1037245 Registered Address: Southville Primary School, Merrywood Road, Southville, Bristol, BS3 1EB Trustee’s: Helen Beach, Andrew Bowman, Jennifer Gibson and Tarnjit Khera In the year to 31 August 2023 we have raised the following: * Welcome Picnic £220.61 * Halloween Disco's £1,800.55 * Comedy Night £958.21 * Winter Fair £6,410.04 * Year 3/4 Carol's £102.23 * Beginner's Ball £397.46 * Quiz Night £345.90 * Spring Disco’s £1,582.32 * May Fair £7,513.47 * Easy Fundraising £129.30 (£3 less than last year) *Amazon Smile £132.38 (this has now stopped) *Tea Towels £616.19 (£207 less more than year) *Donations via Donate My School (now called Goodhub), Gift Aid payments and Charitable Giving £24.78 We spent money too! Some of the things we bought to enrich the lives of the children at Southville include *outdoor play equipment £625 *the HAGS climbing frame£16,331.44 *food room equipment £914.21 * Duo Lingo books £300 - paid half of all theatre tickets for the whole school at Christmas £2,923.20 - contributed £1500 to year 6 leavers year book/hoodies - contributed a net of £544.50 towards year 3 pupils taking part in the Lantern Parade - paid £882 towards a year end treat for all pupils - art equipment for both sites totalling £416.98 - £300 for resources for Southville’s involvement in the BS3 Arts Trail We started the year with £18,514 but have ended with a reduced amount of £13,688.74 due to the decision to fund the amazing HAGS climbing frame.
