Objects: The Company Is Established: (1) To Promote The Use Of And Access To The Technology Of The Internet And Other Electronic Communications ("Internet Communications") To People And Communities Who Would Not Otherwise Have Access To IT Because Of Economic And/or Social Disadvantage For The Benefit Of The Public And In Particular (But Without Limitation) By: (I) Advancing Education And Providing Training In The Use Of Internet Communications, The Opportunities Presented By Internet Communications And In Other Disciplines Using Internet Communications As An Educational Medium; (Ii) Undertaking And Promoting Research In Internet Communications And Making The Useful Results Of This Research To The Public;(2) To Advance Education And Provide Training In The Use Of Internet Communications And To Undertake And Promote Research In Internet Communication And To Make The Useful Results Of This Research Known To The Public;(3) To Raise Awareness Of Human Rights (As Set Out In The Universal Declaration Of Human Rights Proclaimed By The General Assembly Of The United Nations On 10 December 1948, The European Convention For The Protection Of Human Rights And Fundamental Freedoms Proclaimed On 4 November 1950, The Human Rights Act 1998 And Any Other International Human Rights Treaties Or Conventions To Which The United Kingdom Is, Or Become, A Signatory, Or Further Legislation In England And Wales) Through Or By Promoting The Use Of Internet Communications;(4) To Develop The Capacity And Skills Of Members Of Economically And/or Socially Disadvantaged Communities In Such A Way That They Are Better Able To Identify And Meet Their Needs And To Participate More Fully In Society, Through Or By The Use Of Internet Communications;(5) To Promote The Efficiency And Effectiveness Of Charities And The Effective Use Of Resources For Charitable Purposes By Charitable And Non-Charitable Bodies For The Benefit Of The Public By Promoting The Use And Access To, And Providing Education, Training And Advice In Connection With, Internet Communications.
