**Activities:** The Basingstoke Music and Arts Festival seeks to advance the education of the public in the arts namely music, speech, drama, creative writing  in all their branches.  It will hold an annual competitive festival where amateur performers will gain encouragement and constructive comment from professional adjudicators in a friendly supportive environment.
