The Congolese Community Council aims to promote the benefit mainly Congolese any otrher person fron Congolese origin and also African Francophone in Great Britain by association together Congolse people and the local authorities voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance education and provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation and leisure time.
Objects: (A) To Promote The Benefit Of The Residents Of The London Borough Of Islington In Particular Those Resident Who Are Zairean Refugees By Associating Together In A Common Effort To Advance Their Education (B) To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Leisure-Time Occupation To The Inhabitants Of The London Borough Of Islington With The Objects Of Improving Their Conditions Of Life (C) To Establish Or Secure The Establishment Of A Community Centre Or Meeting Place And To Maintain And Manage The Same (Whether Alone Or In Co-Operation With Any Local Authority Or Other Person Or Body) In Furtherance Of These Objects
