**Activities:** The committee supports Downs Park School in activities which advance the education of the pupils who attend.  It helps provide additional facilities which are not normally provided by the local education authority including recreation and hardship.  It helps develop the relationship between parents and the school by organising fund raising social events and traditional fund raising activities.
