The Cae Gla8 Charlty (Also known as Oswestry Town Council as Trust88s, Guildhall, Oswestry,
Shropshire) 18 registered with the Charlty Commlssloners (No. 1036331) and constltuted by Deed of
Trust.
The Charlty Is admlnlstered by the below named Trustee:

The Cae Glas Charity was 88tsbllsh8d by a Scheme of the Charity Comrnissioner8 sealed on 20th
January 1994 with the airn of maintalnlng and Improving parkland In Oswestry knovm as Ca8 Gl8S
Park.
The Chainnan of the Trust was Councillor Jonathan Upton.
The Counclllors met once In 2023124 on 19th Juty. Day to day management of the Part( was
undertaken by Mr Henry Teuma, Ihe Operatlon8 Manager In direct consultation with Park stsff.
The balance held by the Ca8 Glas Charity is annually tr8n8ferred to Oswestry Town Councll to off-set
costs Incurred In ground8 maintenance. The balance held as at 31st March 2023 totalling £23,751.58
was transferred durlng 2023124. The balance held at the end of March 2024 wlll be transferred to the
Council during 2024125.

The charitys trustees, are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The charitys trustees consider that an audit
Is not required thls year under sectlon 144(2) of the Charities Act 2011 (the 2011 Act) and that an Independent
examination Is needed.
It is my responslblllty to:
(i) examlne the accounts under sectlon 145 of the 2011 AOL.
(li) to follow the procedures lald down In the general Dlrectlons given by the Charlty Commisslon under sectlon
145(5)(b) of the 2011 Act. and
(115) to 8tat8 whether partlcular matter8 have come to my attentlon.

My ex8mlnatlon wa8 carrled out 4n accordance wlth the general dlrectlons glven by the Charlty Comml8slon. An
examlnallon Indudes a revlew of the accountlng record8 kept by the charlty and a comparfson of Ihe accounts
presented with those records. It also .Sncludes conslderatlon of any unusual Items or disclosures In the accounts, and
seeklng explanat5ons from you as trustees concernlng any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provlda
all the evldence that would be requlred In an audlt and consequently no oplnlon Is glven as to whether the accounts
present a Irue and falr vlew and the report is Simited lo those matters set out In the Statement below.
In connactlon with my examlnatton, no matter has come to my attentlon:
(1) which glves me re8sonabllJ calJ8e to belleve that In any materlal respect the requlrements:
(l) to keep accountlng records In accordance wlth 88ctlon 130 of the 2011 Act; and
(il) to prepare accounts whlch aceord wlth the accounfjng records and comply with the accountlng requlrements of
the 2011 Act
