REPORT OF THE DIRECTORS / TRUSTEES END OF FINANCIAL YEARS 2024-2025

FUTURES OF YOUTH: A) Supplementary School: There are urgent requests from parents to resume the Supplementary School. Through our partnership with the local schools we continue to refer the parents to the services the Schools are providing. There is an increase in the after school services at schools who due to increase government funding post the Covid pandemic are able to provide extra classes. We also currently refer parents to our Supplementary School partners for extra classes. We are aiming to resume the classes in September 2026.

B) Structured Education Programme (SEP): The organisation directly supported 11 parents of children facing exclusion and was successful in preventing 5 exclusions. Structured Information Communications Technology (SITec )COMPUTER CLUB ”– temporarily suspended, due to the shortage of supervision staff. We are aiming to resume the service in September 2026.

FUTURES OF RETURNING TO WORK :

The Higher IT skills courses continue and are well attended, with attendees gaining qualifications and work experience with our IT surgery feasibility project which helps disadvantaged people. Students are also referred to other organisations and companies for apprenticeships, and work experience.

IT Surgery: 23 disadvantaged people were helped to fix/update Computers and smart phones at no cost.

OTHER HIGHER SKILLS: 9 students aged 18+ were supported with 6 being referred to other higher level skills courses at other organisations including colleges and 1 gaining employment in a trainee position.

Basic Computer Familiarity and IT: 31 Completions 9 job outcomes.

IT Level 2 and Intermediate and advanced Microsoft office students: 17 Completions and 7 job outcomes .

COMMUNITY SUPPORT: Direct help: 61 people given one to one direct help and support. Co-op Foodshare partnership: Approximately 104 pickups and drop offs with approximately 1500 low income people acquiring food. We are awaiting partner information including Co-Op and Foodbanks with precise figures.
