Objectives and activities
The aims of Noah’s Ark Pre-school are to enhance the development and education of children primarily under statutory school age by encouraging parents to understand and provide for the needs of their children through our community group by:
-
a) Offering appropriate play, education and care facilities, family learning and extended hour groups, together with the right of parents to take responsibility for and to become involved in the activities of such groups, ensuring that such groups offer opportunities for all children whatever their race, culture, religion, means or ability.
-
b) Encouraging the study of the needs of such children and their families and promoting public interest in and recognition of such needs in the local area.
-
c) Instigating and adhering to and furthering the aims and objects of the Pre-school Learning Alliance.
We run an Early Years Setting. The charity provides care and education, during term times to children from two and a half years old to school age.
The children are provided with a wide range of activities and opportunities to develop key skills.
Achievements and performance
The charity ran 342 three hour supervised sessions for children from two and a half years old to school age, including a lunch club. Throughout the year 32 children and their families utilized these sessions.
Financial Review
The charity has an informal policy whereby at the end of the academic year they aim to have approximately eight months of operating cost in reserve. This is to ensure that they continue to function through the next academic year if the number of children attending are diminished.

Report to the Trustees of Noah’s Ark Pre-school On the accounts for the year ended 31st August 2025
I have carried out my examination in accordance with general directions given by the Charity Commission. The examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration for any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts and seeking explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters.
In conclusion with my examination, no matter has come to my attention. In my opinion the accounts show a true and fair view of the Noah’s Ark Preschool’s financial position on 31st August 2025.
