Fund raising to support the delivery of activities was carried out.
-
A full and varied balanced programme of indoor and outdoor activities, training and residential experiences was delivered in all youth sections to almost 50 young people aged between six and 14 years.
-
Construction of the storage extension has been completed and significant funding received from the Good Exchange project.
-
Full details can be found in the Section reports to the Annual General Meeting.
-
Finance The Group showed a surplus over the year of approximately £5250. The costs of constructing and equipping the storage extension were offset by Government grants of approximately £16,900.
-
Reserves The Group has unrestricted cash assets of £30,200 to fund day to day activities and the maintenance and improvement of our premises. Of this approximately £500 is already committed to various projects leaving approximately £29,700 available (an increase of £5,000).
-

-
Investments The Group owns the Freehold of its property and has no other investments Managing Risk The Trustees have identified the following Risks:
-
A need to recruit more Leaders in the longer term and have the topic under discussion;
-
The threat to stability posed by COVID. The Group currently has sufficient reserves and anticipated income.to fund the next 2 years. It is noted the situation has improved as restrictions are eased.
